Suppress (also known as Oversight) is a restricted user group on WikiProducers with the ability to permanently hide specific revisions, log entries, or user actions from all users, including administrators.

This permission is used only in serious cases where sensitive information must be removed for legal, privacy, or safety reasons.

Responsibilities

• Removing personal information (e.g., phone numbers, addresses, financial details) accidentally posted on the wiki.
• Hiding defamatory, libelous, or legally sensitive content.
• Ensuring compliance with privacy laws and WikiProducers policies.
• Coordinating with Bureaucrats and Administrators for incident review.

Selection

Members of the Suppress group are appointed only in rare circumstances and must:

• Have an exceptional record of trust and confidentiality.

• Be approved by Bureaucrats or the site founder.

Guidelines

• Use suppression only when absolutely necessary.
• Always document the reason for suppression in a secure channel.
• Coordinate with other senior roles before taking action, unless urgent.
