WikiProducers respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and applicable copyright laws.
This page explains how to request the removal of copyrighted material from WikiProducers and how to submit a counter-notice if you believe content was removed in error.
1. What is the DMCA?[ ]
The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) is a U.S. law that provides a process for copyright owners to request the removal of infringing material from online platforms.
2. Before Submitting a Takedown Request[ ]
- Confirm you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
- Identify the exact material you believe is infringing.
- Understand that false claims can result in legal liability.
3. Submitting a Takedown Request[ ]

Your request must include:
- Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- The exact URL(s) of the infringing content on WikiProducers.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
4. Processing Requests[ ]
- Valid DMCA requests will be reviewed promptly.
- If approved, the infringing material will be removed or access will be disabled.
- The user who added the material may be notified and given the option to submit a counter-notice.
5. Counter-Notice Process[ ]
If you believe content was removed in error, submit a counter-notice including:
- Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- The URL of the content that was removed.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the material was removed due to a mistake or misidentification.
- Your consent to the jurisdiction of the U.S. Federal District Court for your judicial district.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
6. Repeat Infringers[ ]
Accounts that repeatedly upload infringing material may be suspended or permanently banned from WikiProducers.
