Producer Profiles & Responsibilities

Profile Accuracy

Producers are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of all information submitted to their profiles, including license information, credentials, certifications, carrier appointments, and any representations made about their services.

License Verification

All producers on WikiProducers are required to hold valid, active insurance licenses in the states where they practice. We reserve the right to verify license status through the National Insurance Producer Registry (NIPR) or state insurance departments. Producers with expired, suspended, or revoked licenses may have their profiles removed or suspended.

Profile Removal

WikiProducers reserves the right to remove, suspend, or modify any producer profile at any time, without prior notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Submission of false or misleading information
  • Violation of these Terms
  • License expiration, suspension, or revocation
  • Consumer complaints or regulatory actions
  • Inactivity or failure to maintain an accurate profile

Producer Conduct

Producers agree to conduct themselves professionally and in compliance with all applicable state and federal insurance laws and regulations, including but not limited to:

  • State insurance licensing and continuing education requirements
  • Fair trade practices and anti-rebating laws
  • Privacy and data protection obligations under GLBA and state law
  • Do-not-call and telemarketing regulations
  • Advertising and marketing compliance as required by state insurance departments
